Beco Lichtman

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Beco Eli Lichtman moved to Europe, where he lived and worked for over seven years. While there, he enjoyed a career in event and meeting management for various companies, including Conrad International in London. He brings years of experience in forming partnerships and developing creative marketing plans that drive revenue. In 2007, BizBash Florida Magazine chose Beco as one of the best event professionals in the state of Florida for their "20 Under 40" list. Beco is currently pursuing an MBA in Strategic Marketing and Brand Development at Florida International University’s Chapman School of Business.In addition to his work and studies, he has served as a Production Chair for the Miami Recognition Dinner for the past three years.

Beco became a member of Temple Israel in 2008 along with spouse and best friend, Eric Lichtman. In addition to the worship service and outstanding programs, he was immediately attracted to Temple Israel’s ability to successfully connect to the Jewish and non-Jewish communities and its long history with social justice activism. Here is where Beco found his spiritual home and lent his time to help repair the world – tikkun olam. He first joined the Board of Trustees in 2010 and has now been chosen as the VP of Programming for the 2011-12 term. Beco’s goal is to design and implement creative, diverse, and inclusive programming for the upcoming year. He also serves at Chair of Temple Israel’s LGBT Havurah, Ru’ach.
