All classes are $36 per semester/per household for members (and Virtual Access) and $72 per semester for non-members - regardless of how many sessions you attend

Jewish Holiday Boot-Camps-Join Rabbi Morrison for an intensive look at our upcoming holidays, commemorations, and celebrations. These concentrated sessions will explore the liturgy, customs, foods, and melodies reserved for these elevated days. No prior knowledge is needed. Dates specified and classes will run from 8:00 pm-9:00 pm (via ZOOM only)  

  • Monday, September 12th:  Elul (Month of Preparation)
  • Thursday, September 22nd:  Rosh HaShannah
  • Monday, October 3rd: Yom Kippur
  • Thursday, October 13th:  Sukkot/Shmini Atzeret/Simchat Torah
  • Thursday, December 8th:  Chanukkah 

Jewish Mindfulness- co-taught by Rabbi Amy Morrison and Dr. Shari Klinger Located in the Wolfson Auditorium.  Occurs every Thursday morning 9:00 am - 10:00 am, starting September 15th and concluding November 17th.  (In person only)

 “Shir Nachas”- Love to sing in the shower? Love to sing in the car? Love to sing wherever you are? Well, now it’s time to ‘love to sing in our sanctuary!’ Come join the TI Volunteer Adult Choir (12 years old and above) led by Cantor Rachelle Nelson. Located in the Sanctuary. Occurs Sunday mornings from  9:30 am-10:15 pm. - starting September 18th. (In person only)

 “Looking through the Jewish Lens”- With so much going on in this hectic world, sometimes it is great to pause and learn how our ancient religion can help us understand our modern challenges. Join this monthly discussion, led by Cantor Rachelle Nelson, in various offices/workspaces around Miami. Occurs once a month from 12:00pm-1:00pm. (In person only.)

“Nosh and Prayer”- Ever sat at synagogue and wished that you could participate more? Not sure of the melodies, confused about the Hebrew, not confident that you are ‘doing it right? Fret no more! Join our clergy team as they walk through the Shabbat liturgy and liturgical music teaching the many different ways to become more familiar with Jewish prayer. No knowledge of Hebrew is necessary. (Zoom only.)  Occurs Sunday mornings from 10:30 am-11:30 am. 
 

For Those Seeking Conversion  (separate registration form and fee)
A 16-week class for adults seeking to renew their childhood education and/or studying for conversion. Topics include Hebrew, holidays, rituals, prayer, philosophy, and theology. Taste the basics of Jewish life: spirituality, ethics, and community. This is a wonderful course for those new to the congregation, new to Jewish life, or interested in exploring the richness of our tradition.
