Temple Israel’s clergy and staff have truly enjoyed offering creative and original programming to meet the congregation’s desire for connection during the Covid-19 pandemic. Through weekly Shabbat Shira song sessions, Saturday evening Havdallah services, and daily Quarantine-U classes, our community has maintained and (even) grown in numbers and strength.
Now, as we approach the High Holiday season (Rosh Chodesh Elul- the month of introspection begins on August 20th) Temple Israel’s virtual programming will transition in theme and format to focus on Setting Intentions, Preparing Our Souls for Growth, and Moving Forward—our congregational themes for the 5781 High Holiday experience.
Throughout the next few months, Temple Israel members will be able to come together (virtually) to engage in many diverse and interactive educational and social opportunities that will continue to move our congregation into this new Jewish year with enhanced spirituality, a renewed understanding of our festivals, and an even stronger feeling of connection within our Temple Israel family.
